Rump@blic creates its own path in rediscovering the origin of rum, selecting multi-origin rums bases and using different distillation processes while exploring new ageing techniques.
The finishing process of Rump@blic takes place in the historic Florio Cellars in Marsala, Sicily, where the renowned Marsala wine has been produced since 1833. Here, the Master of the Florio Cellars takes care of every single aspect of Rump@blic Sicilian Legacy, all the way through to maturation: he chooses the right Marsala cask and even finds the perfect spot in the cellar to let the Mediterranean see breeze influence Rump@blic in the desired way.
Rump@blic White Blend
Rump@blic White Blend is a versatile, never harsh, dry and rich product, which is ideally suited for use in mixing.
This blend is perfectly balanced thanks to the use of two rums with exceptional qualities.
On the one hand, Panamanian rum, with its slightly spicy and aromatic notes obtained thanks to the ageing in American ex-bourbon oak barrels.
On the other hand, a Barbados rum, distilled in pot stills and aged 3 years in the tropics, also in American ex-bourbon oak barrels, which add more character and fruity notes.
Rump@blic Gold Blend
Rump@blic Gold Blend is a well-balanced and mild blend with a lovely antique gold colour. It’s created with Jamaican rum, which with its distinct tones reflects the strength of the island it originates from, thanks to its characteristic strong aroma and full-bodied structure.
This blend is rounded off with a fresh Panamanian rum, which is smoother on the palate with pleasant hints of vanilla, a roasted aroma and a light fruity note.
In this resulting blend, cinnamon, allspice and vanilla blend perfectly with notes of fruits, hay and caramel, with a final twist of hot spices reminiscent of Sichuan pepper and smoky hints.
Rump@blic Sicilian Legacy Blend
Rump@blic Sicilian Legacy 100% Jamaican blend is a rum which reflects the strong notes of the island of origin and the round palatableness of the Sicilian Marsala. The perfect encounter between an aged «funk» pot still distilled rum and an aromatic column still rum, rounded and smoothened by Marsala Florio Cask.
