St James's 10yr Blended Malt Whisky, Speyside 44.2%

**** Back in stock. Due to limited supply this product is not valid with welcome discount****

We have managed to secure a number of bottles of what may be both the happiest and saddest accident in the whisky world.

Ten years ago, several casks of Speyside single malt whisky, distilled between 1989 and 2006, were accidentally blended with a small amount of blended Scotch whisky left in the bottling pipes. In an instant, this single malt became an accidental blended Scotch.

Unsure what to do with this newly created blend, our friends at Berry Bros. & Rudd returned the whisky to cask and stored it away in their warehouse, where it remained undiscovered for a decade.

While the whisky itself is older than the 10 years stated on the label, the accident means it can legally only be described as a 10-Year-Old blended Scotch whisky. At this price, it represents a rare opportunity to enjoy a whisky of remarkable age and pedigree at a price that is unlikely to be repeated.
