Not quite. Occasionally we have special bottles kept aside for sale in our shop only and for customers who make specific enquiries. If you’re after these special bottles, make sure

1) you sign up to our mailing list for all the latest; and

2) you contact uswith your bottle requests.

While we aim to always have items featured on our website in stock, there are occasions when the stock levels on our website are incorrect, or a particular bottle will not be returning to stock for quite some time.

If this is the case, we will contact you regarding any delay and give you the opportunity to select an alternative item or to wait for the product to come back into stock.

From time to time, items will be discontinued and as such will not come back into stock. When an item is discontinued, we will remove this item from your order. If you paid with a credit card, we will not charge you for the cost of the item or any associated taxes, shipping and handling charges.

No – Sadly, we can’t. Spirits often come in gorgeous gift boxes already which we’ll of course include in your delivery, but our top priority is to ensure your bottles arrive safe and sound in one piece, undamaged.

To this end, we often need to repackage your bottle into a secure and padded casing. We pride ourselves on making our deliveries look very smart nonetheless, and you can add in a personalised note free of charge to get that special touch.

Yes – just add in a note at the delivery stage of check out and we’ll write out your note on a gift card, free of charge.

Delivery & returns

Not at all!

Our standard UK delivery free is £9.95 for orders under £100.  We offer free, standard UK delivery on orders over £100 to the majority of UK post codes, but exclusions apply to some areas of the Highlands & Islands of Scotland, Isle of Mann, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Wight.

International delivery can be arranged, but you’ll need to send us the full address and a contact telephone number for the recipient via email to

ship orders over £100 overseas.

Unless the item ordered is unavailable, most UK deliveries will arrive within 1-3 working days after the order is placed. We will contact you if any items on your order are out of stock to advise on lead times or suggest an alternative.

Yes – we can arrange this for UK customers, but you must place your order before 2pm. A delivery charge will also apply, typically £15-£20 but variable depending on your delivery postcode.

Yes – just enter the name and address of the person you want us to deliver to in the 'Delivery Details' section when you are placing your order.

If you’re shipment is coming to your home address, with your name on, we usually include your invoice. But if it’s to a different delivery address with a gift note, don’t worry; we’ll make sure no invoice is sent out to your lucky recipient – just a delivery note so they know what should arrive (no prices included). Equally, any orders with a gift note included, we’ll send without an invoice.

Our courier will attempt to deliver your order twice. If the recipient fails to accept the delivery or to respond to the calling cards, the bottles will be held for collection at the courier’s depot for 5 working days.

After this the order will be returned to The Spirits Room. We unfortunately have to charge for delivery again if you need us to resend the bottles. Every effort will be made to ensure the order is delivered first time. However it is the delivery recipient’s responsibility to communicate convenient delivery dates to The Spirits Room or to our courier.

We send thousands of orders every year, and only a handful have problems. However, if your parcel is visibly wet or damaged, or shows signs of having been tampered with, you should refuse to sign for it and have it returned to us. You should contact us immediately if this happens.

If you sign for your parcel and subsequently find that something inside is damaged, please take photos of the damaged box and contents before disposing of them and email them to us immediately so that we can arrange a replacement for you.
