About the distillery

Chateau Montifau is a small, family-owned Cognac house which specialises in the production of Cognacs from the Petite Champagne region. Here the chalky soils produce Ugni Blanc, Colombard, Folle Blanche, Cabernet and Merlot used to make a floral, elegant style of cognac. Distillation on lees and long cask ageing in finest Limousin oak barrels have helped shape the style of Chateau Montifau for generations.
