The only whisky actually distilled by renowned bottlers Gordon & Macphail, in the smallest working distillery in Speyside. The Benromach 10YO is a cracking all rounder. Rich, smooth, sweet flavours, spicy flavours a hint of peat smoke.
Benromach distillery was bought by famous independent bottlers Gordon & Macphail in 1993 with the aim of acquiring more fine casks of excellent whisky. It has since become a project of passion for the company, producing a more traditional Speyside style including a portion of peated spirit.
Benromach whiskies are matured exclusively in first-fill barrels, using local Scottish barley malted with a little peat smoke before being ground into grist in a 120 year-old four-roller Boby Mill. This lightly peated barley gives Benromach whiskies their distinctive Speyside character.
