The incredible 2022 edition of Glenturret 30-Year-Old includes a selection of some of the rarest casks found in the traditional Dunnage Warehouses at Scotland's Oldest Working Distillery. A Niepoort Portugese oak cask that is over one hundred years old and once held a characterful vintage port drives the tropical flavours found in this complex whisky. European oak sherry and Moscatel casks further enhance the whisky's abundant, rich characteristics, whilst refill casks allow an array of fruit to make several welcome appearances.
Just 750 bottles were made in 2022.
Tasting note from the distillery:
Tropical fruit salad. Pineapple, mango, and banana, melting in brown sugar sweetness. Sumptuous creamy coffee. Viscous with dark chocolate truffles.
