A tremedous dram from Glencadam. The spirit was matured in ex-bourbon American oak casks before being married and finished in Portuguese Tawny Port barriques.
Official Tasting Notes
Nose – Rich dark fruits and candied cloves with hints of blackcurrant liquorice and baking spices.
Palate – Layers of brambles, blackcurrant jam, treacle toffees and Morello cherries leading into plum crumble and cedarwood spices.
Finish – Warming notes of walnut, golden syrup and Victoria sponge cake fading into toasty wood spices.
