Distilled in December 2019 and bottled in February 2023, this limited-edition release (just 344 bottles) is a celebration of East London’s thriving craft spirit scene. At 49.9% ABV, it’s a whisky that perfectly captures the spirit of collaboration and innovation that defines the area.
East London Liquor Co. has crafted this rye with a blend of 55% malted rye and 45% malted barley, giving it a buttery, brioche-like quality that’s smooth and approachable, without the intense spice often associated with rye whiskies.

Distillery Tasting Note: This whisky is a chocolate lover’s dream, with rich flavours that evoke the indulgence of a fresh chocolate brownie, juicy black cherries, and cocoa-dusted almonds. What makes this whisky truly stand out is its unique maturation process. After an initial rest in an ex-bourbon cask, it was transferred to a Hackney Brewery Chocolate Stout cask, infusing the whisky with deep, chocolatey notes that make it incredibly moreish.
