Another great dram from Glencadam. The spirit was matured in ex-bourbon American oak casks before being married and finished in hand-selected Pinot Noir wine barrels from Burgundy, France.
Official Tasting Notes
Nose: Rich aromas of dark fruits, Morello cherry jam, stewed plums and chocolate mousse.
Palate: Sweet and oily with layers of cooked blackcurrants, Brazil nuts, brambles and banana bread with hints of espresso, clove and star anise.
Finish: Mocha coffee and Black Forest gateaux fading into warming ginger, nutmeg and cedar spices.
