Wire Works Caduro X celebrates the 10th anniversary of White Peak Distillery. Capturing not just where they are today, but everything that’s shaped them along the way.
Like its namesake Caduro (from the Wire Works Provenance Core range), the whisky is a vatting of first fill ex-bourbon barrels and their signature STR casks. Caduro X brings forth their DNA of making and commitment to innovation.
They have worked with both their ‘regular-cuts’ and ‘alt-cuts’ single malts, using the alternate distillation cut-points to lean into a brighter profile, carrying a tropical fruit character and a subtle uptick in peat. To add further depth, they’ve used ‘special waters’ to proof the whisky down to bottling strength.
