This truly unique rye whisky gets its charm from the malt smoked in a barn with Finnish freshwater peat. 

Tasting Note:  Mossy, foresty, vegetal peat smoke wafts through the gorgeous layers of warm green apples and honey, and the peppery, woody rye spice. Deliciously rich and textured on the palate, there's the sweet malty rye, a hint of dark chocolate, wet smoke and a smoky honeycomb finish - like a smouldering crunchy bar!

About the distillery

Like all good ideas in Finland, this all-Rye distillery began in a traditional sauna. Five friends clubbed together, converted an old dairy to a distillery and in 2012 began producing excellent spirits from 100% wholegrain Finnish malted rye. Now their award-winning array of Gin and Rye Whiskies have captured the attention of spirit nuts the world over, most notably when Kyrö Gin was voted the World's Best Gin for Gin & Tonic by the IWSC in 2015.
