Under the banner of “Smoke with Taste,” Torabhaig brings a fresh perspective: believe in barley, respect time, and leave tradition’s superfluous hurry at the gate. Its restored farmstead, complete with solar panels and local-sourced timber, is both home and workshop for a team of “Journeymen” who combine generational grain know-how with fresh Gaelic influence.
Torabhaig’s heart beats to the rhythms of Gaelic culture and community spirit: the gift shop stocks wares from island artisans, the distillers sponsor the local shinty team, and language classes are held in the old stead.
